TO Waste is Toronto’s first green app of its kind that will inform each family and/or individual about the next scheduled waste pickup day, and propose the ‘right’ bin to be collected. It will also show the location of the nearest garbage depot for the people living in the City of Toronto.

All this information and more can be easily accessed based on the postal code of your area.

Here are some handy features to expect from TO Waste:

- Waste Touch 

With just one touch, the app will show you the bins to be placed for the next scheduled waste pickup

- Remind Me 

If you forgot to keep your waste on the curbside last week, then this week let the app remind you before the next scheduled waste pickup.

- Garbage Depot 

Do you have a waste that is bigger than your bin, then let the app find the nearest garbage depot based on your current location and give you the directions.

- Waste Wizard 

Helps sort through waste by identifying the bins in which the waste belongs, as well as what to do with items that don’t go into the bins.
